Come and join us on Saturday 11th July 9am

Clay Pigeon Shoot

In aid of funds for St Bartholomew’s Church Burwash

Please join us for a morning of clay pigeon shooting.

The format will be 50 clays with everything provided, though you are welcome to bring your own gun (please let us know what gauge as cartridges are supplied).

We will be serving complimentary Tea, Coffee and bacon rolls.

Bottle of Champagne for best score.

All are welcome and there will be experienced shots on hand to give advice and tuition to beginners. I am sorry but no children (under 16) due to the nature of the event.

The price is £50 per head, roughly half to cover costs and the rest will go to church fundraising.

Please RSVP to Jonathan Gomer –

(We have limited spaces so please let me know ASAP – venue, just off A265 between Burwash and Burwash Weald)

NOTE: Working on the basis that things will a) eventually get a little better, b) there will be some easing of restrictions at some point and c) that the date is nearly 3 months from now,and obviously with the caveat that it is all dependent on whether outdoor gatherings are allowed under any restrictions in force!

3Cs coffee morning, every Wednesday in St Bartholomew’s 9.45 until 11.45 until further notice

(coffee, cake and chat)
Our group has been meeting in the church every Wednesday morning since
2nd September: how time flies! Our numbers have steadily grown and
we have a core group of just over 20 ladies and gentlemen.
I asked for comments to describe their enjoyment of the mornings and was told:
‘Everyone is very welcoming and friendly;’
‘We have delicious home-made cake;’
‘Come along and find out all about dentures and spectacles!’
‘Interesting anecdotes about life in Burwash over the last 60-70 years;’
‘It is so lovely to have this get-together every week’.

 3c's morning

Beginning in March, we shall be changing the times of our 3Cs coffee mornings
to 9.45am until 11.45am.
Thank you to all our lovely ladies and gentlemen
who have made the 3Cs coffee mornings so much fun!
